Summer School

The 2009 HCSNet Summer School will be held on Monday 30th November and Tuesday 1st December, 2009. Participation in the Summer School is open to anyone with an interest in Human Communication Science.

The aim of the Summer School is to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to hear about the latest research in human communication science. Summer School courses are led by leading researchers from psychology, linguistics, computer science, language technology, speech science, music, and engineering. This year's Summer School will consist of sixteen half-day courses. Each day of Summer School will be followed by a Meet the Presenter Session to give course participants an opportunity to ask questions and talk informally with the course presenters. Student Poster Sessions will also be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings to showcase hot topics in a range of human communication science disciplines and to enable students to receive feedback on their research.
